BBT SUNDAY SCHOOL and DHAMMA CLASS

Albert Einstein said "The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both natural and spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual and a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs, it would be Buddhism."

BBT (Burmese Buddhist Temple, Singapore) has opened Sunday Schools to teach Buddhism and Buddhist Moral Values to children since January 2003. The School has benefited the children who attended the class. There are noticeable improvements in their conduct and in the ways they interact with others. Please do not miss this opportunity to expose your children to Buddhism. The classes are opened to all races including non-Buddhist.

8th January 2006

Dear Dhamma Teachers & Parents,

We would like to welcome you and your children back to our Sunday Dhamma School for another new term at the Temple.

We hope that you and your family have enjoyed and benefited from the Dhamma Programmes conducted last year. We hope that you will give us your support in this year's Dhamma Programmes and make it a meaningful experience for your family.

Every Sundays, our temple is very crowded with many programmes and activities, in order to accommodate to the different needs for prayers and offering, we will schedule our Dhamma Class to commence at 11.00am instead of 10.30am for this school year.

Parents and teachers, please take note of the School Holidays scheduled for the year 2006. Dhamma Classes will not be conducted on Sundays, if we are having a temple celebration and also if it falls on a gazetted Public Holiday.
