Buddhists traditionally chant suttas (teachings) attributed to the Buddha. It normally starts with taking refuge to three gems and five precepts. Intention of chanting suttas are to remind himself about Buddha teachings, to share suttas with others who can hear (be it human or others), to find peace within himself by reciting suttas, etc., but not limited to.

Resident Monks chant daily and during special occasion like Calendar New Year, Lunar New Year, Myanmar New Year, Vesak Day, etc, as well as during festivals.

Temple also has regular chanting sessions for devotees to join in, as per schedule below. Chanting Booklets are also available for loan.
